To combat poverty and unemployment in the Punjab province, the Punjab government introduced the Punjab Rozgar Scheme 2022 under the direction of Chief Minister Mr. Hamza Shehbaz Sharif. More than 30 billion loans, ranging from 100,000 to 10,000,000, will be made available under this programme to help people launch small businesses and earn a reasonable living. The borrower will repay the loan in manageable instalments.

Punjab Green Development Loan
Punjab Green Development Loan will be provided for the following businesses.
- Bricks making Bhatta ( Zig Zag Technology)
- Organic Food
- Drip Irrigation
- Solar System
- Nurseries
- Biogas Plant
In order to improve environmental quality in the province, reduce air, soil, and water pollution, address deforestation, floods, and land degradation, manage surface water and groundwater resources, conserve natural resources, and protect biodiversity, develop public transportation and other alternatives to private motorised vehicles, and integrate environmental considerations into public policy making and private investment, the Punjab Green Development Program (PGDP) has been established.
Eligibility Criteria:
The loans under the Punjab Rozgar Scheme will be processed in accordance with the following qualifying requirements:
- Age should be between 20 and 50.
- Anyone of any gender, including transgender people, may apply for the loan.
- Individuals must be Pakistani nationals, Punjab residents, and CNIC-verified residents in order to qualify as residents.
- Punjab must be the location of the company.
- Business Type: Partnership, sole proprietorship, or any other entity meeting the requirements
- For startups and new firms, e-CIB and credit history must be spotless.
- preparing a successful business strategy
- for already-running companies
- having a workable business plan with a goal of minimising the COVID-19's effects
- an active CNIC
- Any other criteria will be determined by the government or Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC).
